Blair joined the military coming out of public high school and went through nuclear weapons training and was assigned to Alaska. Once there he changed jobs and ended up in transportation and logistics. After the military he got involved with an Organization named The Way teaching ministry (fundamental Christian group). The course that was taught was called “Power For Abundant Living”. Taught Christian principles about living a prosperous life using biblical verse. It was a 12 session course each session was about 2 hours long. Spent a year in the field with the Way moving the word of God in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. While attending college he worked as an assistant/interim gas station manager. In 1986 he graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology.
In 1987 Blair was introduced to the Sports Car Club of America up at the old “Bryar Motorsports Park” (now NH Motor Speedway) in Loudon, NH. He was hooked and would spend the next 14 years participating in auto racing and working as a race official. He was recognized for his efforts in Sound Control and received numerous National, Divisional and Regional awards. These included being recognized twice nationally for his work in Sound Control. He was recognized in the Northeast division for his support of the National racing series. He led the way through a letter writing campaign to lower the sound limits at race tracks across the country. In 1991 he accepted a contract to build some custom test equipment for Proteon. This would prove pivotal to his career. While at Proteon he was a man of many hats being promoted into area of corporate need. He was moved into manufacturing and customer depot to test and debug products. From there he was switched to a manufacturing support role to support the Network interface card manufacturing.
In the later 90’s he continued work in the computer field working in positions related to the Microsoft Windows computer system and Network operating systems. In 1999 he was introduced to the “Amway Company” and their line of products. The vitamin line nutrilite was life changing. He was able to get rid of some nagging headaches and started feeling better.
